Если бы нужно было выбрать лишь одно стильное место в городе, куда можно пойти позавтракать, выпить кофе, поработать и получить эстетическое удовольствие от атмосферы и интерьера - это было бы новое Зазазу в Симферополе на улице Богдана Хмельницкого.

Мы сохранили историю здания и создали настоящее место притяжения в городе.

If you had to choose only one stylish place in the city where you could go for breakfast, have a coffee, work, and get aesthetic pleasure from the atmosphere and interior, it would be the new Zazazu in Simferopol on Bogdana Khmelnitskogo Street.

We have preserved the history of the building and created a real magnet for people in the city.

CONCEPT

В начале работ мы приступили к демонтажу ужасных старых панелей из 2000-х, окрашенных в ярко-красный цвет и многоуровневого потолка.

Перед нами открылась былая красота помещения: остатки лепнины, ниши со старым кирпичом и, по всей вероятности, бывшей печью с многолетним слоем золы на ее стенах. И конечно же высота потолков..."Бинго!" - подумали мы.

Так же важно было бы упомянуть, что проектируемое помещение находится в бывшем здании доходного дома, начавшее свою историю с 20-х годов прошлого века. В нем останавливались ученые и поэты, один из них - Максимилиан Волошин, прообраз которого проиллюстрирован на большой стене в кулуарной зоне, смотрящий влюбленными глазами на свою музу с круассаном в руке.

At the beginning of the work, we began to dismantle the terrible old panels from the 2000s, painted in bright red and a multi-level ceiling.
The former beauty of the room was revealed to us: the remains of stucco, niches with old bricks and, in all likelihood, a former furnace with a long-term layer of ash on its walls. And of course the ceiling height... "Bingo!" - We thought.
It would also be important to mention that the projected premises are located in the former building of an apartment building that began its history in the 20s of the last century. Scientists and poets stayed there, one of them is Maximilian Voloshin, whose prototype is illustrated on a large wall in the backstage area, looking with loving eyes at his muse with a croissant in his hand.

Невозможно было игнорировать историчность и классику, которая так и витала в воздухе. Нами было принято решение сохранить эту классическую основу и сплести ее в симбиозе с современностью, создав нить между прошлым и настоящим. На контрасте с изящностью лепнины и классических элементов выступает грубость бетона - материала нашей современности.

It was impossible to ignore the historicity and classics that were so in the air. We decided to preserve this classic foundation and weave it in symbiosis with modernity, creating a thread between the past and the present. In contrast with the elegance of stucco and classical elements, the roughness of concrete, the material of our modernity, stands out.

В относительно небольшом помещении удалось реализовать 32 посадочных места, кулуарную зону умывальной, санузел, техническое помещение и открытый бар совмещенный с кухней.

Критически важно было спроектировать как можно больше вариантов различной посадки и сделать отдельные зоны на каждую из групп посетителей: для одного, для парочек, для большой компании или для тех кто любит сидеть повыше за большим барным столом.

In a relatively small room, it was possible to realize 32 seats, a backstage area of a washroom, a bathroom, a technical room and an open bar combined with a kitchen.
It was critically important to design as many different seating options as possible and make separate zones for each of the groups of visitors: for one, for couples, for a large company or for those who like to sit higher at a large bar table.

Строительство кофейни было поистине "ручной работой", так как множество предметов интерьера выполнены руками местных мастеров.

The construction of the coffee shop was truly "handmade", as many interior items were made by local craftsmen.

Прекрасные изображения на стенах были выполнены крымскими художниками.

Очень долго искали эскизы и идеи того, что нужно отобразить - их было более 20-ти и благодаря мастерам получились слегка богемные образы с историей. Кстати, как будете в заведении, обратите внимание на грациозную собачку.

The beautiful images on the walls were made by Crimean artists.

We have been looking for sketches and ideas of what needs to be displayed for a very long time - there were more than 20 of them and thanks to the masters, slightly bohemian images with a story turned out. By the way, when you are in the institution, pay attention to the graceful dog.

Один из основателей заведения руководил стройкой и большую часть строительных работ выполнил своими руками. Он лично выливал гипсовый карниз, который был взят с оригинальной лепнины здания Кинотеатра Симферополь.

One of the founders of the institution supervised the construction and carried out most of the construction work with his own hands. He personally poured out the plaster cornice, which was taken from the original stucco of the Simferopol Cinema building.

95% мебели было разработано по индивидуальным эскизам - барные стулья с нуля были изготовлены специально под наш проект, мы тестировали пробные варианты, чтобы была удобная высота, мягкость подушки и высота перемычки для ног.

95% of the furniture was designed according to individual sketches - bar stools were made from scratch specifically for our project, we tested trial versions so that there was a comfortable height, the softness of the pillow and the height of the footrest.

Мы изготовили светильники в технике папье-маше, которые делали в нескольких вариантах, чтобы добиться нужного рельефа и раковины в умывальной зоне, выполненные из шамота (прочный тип глины).

We made lamps in the papier-mache technique, which were made in several versions to achieve the desired relief and sinks in the wash area made of chamotte (a durable type of clay).
